Bishoy Habib: Cairo, Egypt; I lived most of my life trying to do better, study harder, and be a better person. When I was about to do so, I had a huge setback. I suffered of multiple psychological illnesses. After being one of the best in my college, I was dismissed due to numerous failures. It made me think frantically trying to reason life, find ultimate meaning and truth. Everything triggered so much pain. I moved out of home, tried to restart all over again. After thinking for tens of hours I couldn’t find truth or meaning. I hated my life and mostly hated pain. When I lost all hope I tried to get rid of my life, but I failed. After 6 years of struggling with my sickness I felt as helpless as anyone can be, as dead as death can be. Then the Truth found me, promised me of restoration, life and meaning. And we started a journey of becoming the person I lived all my life dreaming to be!
